Job description:
- Mechanical parts’ (plastic, metal & rubber) sourcing, active benchmarking, cost evaluation, sampling, etc;
- Participate and support New Project Introduction (NPI);
- To develop new qualified sources of supply according to Polar's Supplier Requirements;
- To develop & implement Global Sourcing & Purchasing strategies according to Company direction;
- Support in implementation of logistic program such as Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI);
- Support in supplier quality management; such as system audit;

Type of employment:
Permanent

Requirements:
- Higher Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, or related discipline;
- At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in the watch industry or other related industry;
- High proficiency in both written and spoken English, good in Mandarin;
- Able to use Microsoft Office tools esp. MS Excel;
- Familiar with ERP system such as SAP;
- Good in problem solving skills, negotiation skill, communication skill & work effectively in cross-cultural business environment;
- Possess good teamwork attitude, proactive and result orientated;
- Willingness to travel;
- 5-day workweek;
- Immediate available is preferred.
